Yellowstone National Park, USA

I’ve been lucky enough to travel through much of the USA, exploring both its cities and its incredible countryside. Yellowstone National Park is, without question, my favourite place. I first visited in 2005 and fell completely in love with it. The landscapes are breathtaking, and seeing the wildlife so close in its natural habitat is a real privilege (occasionally a little too close!).

My husband and I usually visit outside the main tourist season to avoid the crowds, which really helps with photography. The flip side is that we can sometimes go almost an entire day without seeing another person, which can feel a bit eerie. On our last trip, our car was surrounded by a pack of wolves, an unforgettable and exhilarating moment. Thankfully, I had my camera on my lap and managed to capture a few shots.
